Terms of Service

By creating an account or using PLABpass ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and PLABpass ("we", "us", "our").

PLABpass is an online examination preparation platform for the Professional and Linguistic Assessments Board (PLAB) examinations and the Medical Licensing Assessment (MLA). The Service includes:

• Question banks for PLAB 1 and MLA preparation
• AI-powered OSCE station practice for PLAB 2
• Performance analytics and progress tracking
• Study tools including flashcards, notes, and guides
• Mock examinations and timed practice sessions

You must be at least 18 years old to use PLABpass. By using the Service, you confirm that you are 18 or over and that the information you provide is accurate.

To access most features, you must register for an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Maintain the security of your password
• Not share your account credentials with others
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account
• Take responsibility for all activity under your account

Each account is for a single individual user only. Sharing accounts is a violation of these terms and may result in account suspension.

Free tier: PLABpass offers a limited free tier with access to a sample of questions.

Paid plans: Full access requires a paid subscription. Prices are displayed on the pricing page and are in GBP inclusive of VAT.

Billing: Subscriptions are billed on a recurring monthly or annual basis via Stripe. Your subscription will automatically renew unless cancelled.

Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then.

Refunds: We offer a 7-day refund policy for first-time subscribers who have not answered more than 50 questions. Contact support@plabpass.app within 7 days of purchase.

Price changes: We will give at least 30 days notice of any price increases.

You agree NOT to:

• Copy, reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit any content from PLABpass without written permission
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access or extract content
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract question content
• Share questions, answers, or explanations from PLABpass on other platforms
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Impersonate another person or create multiple accounts
• Interfere with the security or integrity of the Service

All content on PLABpass — including questions, explanations, clinical cases, PLAB 2 stations, guides, and software — is the intellectual property of PLABpass or its licensors and is protected by copyright.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the content for your own personal exam preparation only.

PLABpass is an examination preparation tool only. Content on PLABpass is designed to help prepare for the PLAB examination and does not constitute medical advice.

Do not use PLABpass content to make clinical decisions about real patients. Always follow current clinical guidelines, consult qualified colleagues, and exercise your own professional judgement.

PLABpass accepts no liability for clinical decisions made based on content from this platform.

PLABpass uses artificial intelligence for certain features including PLAB 2 roleplay, Clinical Case feedback, and study assistance. AI-generated content:

• May not always be accurate or up to date
• Should not be relied upon as authoritative medical information
• Is provided for educational purposes only

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PLABpass shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service
• Loss of data, revenue, or profits
• Failure to pass the PLAB examination
• Any reliance on content or AI-generated feedback

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to PLABpass in the 3 months preceding the claim.

We aim to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may temporarily suspend the Service for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We will provide advance notice where possible.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice. You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We will handle your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email at least 14 days in advance. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
